Minimum Educational Qualification for Indian Railway jobs 2019

For Freshers: Fitter, Electrician & Machinist – Applicant should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks with Science & Maths. For Carpenter, Painter and Welder posts, the candidate should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks.

For Ex- ITI: Fitter, Electrician & Machinist – Applicant should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks with Science & Maths. They should also have a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

Carpenter, Painter & Welder – Applicant should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks. They should also possess a National Trade Certificate among the notified trade issued by the National Council for vocational training.

Programming and System Admin Assistant – Candidates should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks. They should also possess a National Trade Certificate within the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant issued by the National Council for vocational training.

How to apply in Railway jobs 2019 number of vacancies

Candidates can fill their online applications from May 20, 2019, to June 24, 2019 (5 PM). Visit the official website of ICF at icf.indianrailways.gov.in and click at ‘Apprentice 2019’ to fill the form.

1. For applying to the posts of FitterElectrician, and Machinist: The applicant must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Science. For applicants who are ex-ITI (Industrial Training Institute), they must also have a National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

2. For applying to the posts of CarpenterPainter, and Welder: The applicant must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% marks in general. For applicants who are ex-ITI (Industrial Training Institute), they must also have a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT.

3. For applying to the posts of Programming and System Admin Assistant: The applicant must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% marks in general. For applicants who are ex-ITI (Industrial Training Institute), they must also have a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
